FAQ
Good questions.
Do I need to be experienced with strength training?
No. Your program starts where you are. If you're new to lifting, we build skill and confidence first. If you've trained for years, we build from there.
Can I train at home?
Your program is built around the equipment you actually have. Anything from bodyweight only to full gym setups.
Is this a meal plan?
No. You get individualized nutrition guidance that fits your goals and your life, and it gets adjusted as you progress. No rigid meal plans that fall apart the first busy week.
Do I have to track calories?
In most cases we will be quantifying food in some manner. I try to find the most appropriate step for each individual situation.
How often does my program change?
Whenever your progress says it should. Training and nutrition are reviewed regularly. With google forms for workout feedback and calorie check in forms for deep dives.
How does communication with me work?
You'll have regular text check-ins and direct messaging through Trainerize.
Is this only for weight loss?
No. Coaching is about body composition: building muscle, reducing body fat, and getting stronger. The scale is one data point, not the goal.
How long should I expect to work with a coach?
Lasting change takes time, and most people get the most out of coaching over several months to years.
